About us
Are you part of Anthropic?
No. Anthropic makes Claude. AI Wired Right is an independent service of KD Technical Services Inc., a managed IT and security firm in Langley, BC. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic; we simply know how to set Claude up well.
Why Claude, and not ChatGPT or Copilot?
We think Claude is the strongest choice today for the reading, writing and reasoning work that fills an executive’s week, so that is where we specialise. If your firm has standardised on Microsoft Copilot or Google Gemini, our sister practice Flowsmith handles those rollouts.
Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can use email, you can use a well-set-up Claude. The technical decisions are ours; the business decisions stay with you.
Plans and cost
Which Claude plan do I need?
It depends on how you will use it. Individual plans suit a single leader; business plans add admin controls, shared work and business terms for a team. We recommend a plan during the walk-through, before you spend anything. You buy it directly from Anthropic on your own account.
What does a setup cost?
We quote a fixed price after the walk-through, once the scope is clear: one leader or a whole team, how many connections, how many routines. Optional monthly tune-ups are priced separately and can be stopped any time.
How long does it take?
For one leader, typically a handful of sessions over one to three weeks, scheduled around your calendar. Team rollouts take longer, depending on the number of people.
Privacy and data
Does my information leave Canada?
Yes. Claude is a United States service and your conversations are processed outside Canada. For many businesses that is acceptable for most work; for some information it is not. We help you draw that line, write it down, and set Claude up so the rules are easy to follow.
Will my data be used to train the models?
That depends on your plan, its terms and your settings, and those details change over time. Rather than give you a slogan, we show you the current terms and the relevant settings for your plan during setup, and configure them to match how cautious you need to be.
Can Claude read my email?
Only if you connect it, and only where your plan supports it. We connect the minimum each job needs, explain exactly what each connection can see, and show you how to disconnect it in one step.
We are a regulated firm. Is this safe for us?
Accountants, lawyers, wealth managers and health practices all carry extra obligations. We flag the privacy implications in plain language and design around them, but we are not your lawyer or regulator: some decisions need their sign-off first, and we will tell you which.
After setup
What happens when Claude changes?
It changes often, usually for the better. The panel schedule we leave lets you adjust things yourself, and optional monthly tune-ups keep your setup current without you having to follow every announcement.
Can my team use the same setup?
Yes. Once it works for you, we extend it to your leadership team with shared projects, consistent instructions and proper admin settings on a business plan.
